Patricia Murrieta-Flores is Senior Lecturer in the History Department and Co-Director of the Digital Humanities Hub at Lancaster University in the UK. Her research focuses in the implementation of theory and methods from Geographic Information Systems, Natural Language Processing, Corpus Linguistics, and Artificial Intelligence for the research of literary and historical collections. She is the PI of the T-AP project ‘Digging into Early Colonial Mexico: A large scale computational analysis of 16th century historical sources’
